Big Changes at the Horti House - Improved offer for you!

The Horti House announces major changes to improve offer for Garden Centres. 

After conducting a review and listening to Garden Centre buyers and business owners the Horti House confirmed some major changes to increase range, improve availability and offer more choice and flexibility.  These include reduced pack sizes, increased range and better availability of British plants or alternatives from the ‘Rest of the World’. 

 

The Horti House Founder Ed Hill stated ‘as we near our 2nd Birthday we’ve been reflecting on how we have grown and how we can move towards our goal of becoming everyone’s one stop shop for houseplant wholesale.  After listening to our customers, we’ve focused on what was most important to them,  – range, quality, flexibility and British plants.  We’ve now been working behind the scenes on some big changes that will step change our offer in terms of flexibility, availability and range’. 

 

One of the most requested changes was to drop pack sizes down so Garden centres have great flexibility.  Now from The Horti House you can order 17cm green plants in just packs of 3 and even 12cm plants in packs of 6.   This immediately allows Garden centres to order just a single trolley of plants but with much more variety than is offered elsewhere. 

 

Another major change has been the huge increase in range offered from The Horti House.  With over 300 varieties available and more being added each week, this re-enforces the position of the Horti House as a true one stop solution.  To help increase the range, the Horti House are working with more British growers than ever and offering an ever expanded British range.

 

To ensure a reliable and steady supply of houseplants, The Horti House have set up ‘Dual Origin’ houseplants.    Whilst always prioritising British growers and plants wherever possible, there maybe times when plants from the ‘Rest of the World’ are used to meet demand and maintain the highest quality standards.  These plants will always be listed separately and listed as ‘Rest of the World’ ensuring customers can always ensure they get the plants they need. 

 

This is just the start of a lot of exciting changes coming in the early part of this year, all with the aim of supporting our customers and help them grow their sales and margins.  From tech improvements to help improve ordering processes to better care information to ensure the end consumer is successful, we’re laser focused on providing the solutions to support our customers.
