We are excited to announce the launch of our XL hydro plant collection, including a selection of popular and unusual varieties spanning from 27cm – 32cm pot sizes.
Grown in hydro pots with a simple self-watering feature and 1.5L reservoir, these plants are easy for customers to care for and maintain.
As they are hydro plants, they have been grown on water, resulting in roots that are less sensitive to over and under-watering.
Hydro plants can give your customers the confidence to invest in large houseplants and be successful in caring for them.
The plants in this collection are also peat-free as they are planted in porous volcanic stones, that allow them to easily absorb water whilst ensuring optimal oxygen and water levels at the roots.
To care for these plants, simply pour the water over the volcanic stones and it will flow down into the water reservoir below, showing the level on the water meter that indicates when the water is too low and needs topping up.
Whilst our XL hydro plants aren’t currently British grown, they are part of our long-term strategy to increase our range and move towards British plants in the future.
Each plant has been carefully grown in Ghana, before being moved to the Netherlands after a few years to finish growing.
The collection includes plants in pot sizes 27cm, 30 and 32cm and currently covers 12 varieties – including both popular and more unusual varieties, for those customers looking for something a little different.
The Monstera Deliciosa is a best-selling variety with the houseplant category and this range includes a 30cm Monstera that is sure to be popular with customers.

For something more unusual, the collection features Philodendron varieties like the Philodendron Imperial Red with a rich burgundy hue, or the Philodendron Fun Bun with unique finger-like foliage fanning at the end of its stalks.
